This page serves as a guide for how to climb vertically on a rock or on a cliff wall. It is divided into sections depending on how high you want to climb.

2 meters[edit | edit source]

  • Simply jump Space onto it.

3 meters[edit | edit source]

  • Run a short distance, crouch C then jump.

4 meters[edit | edit source]

7 meters[edit | edit source]

  • With Blade Runners, crouch jump. Before touching the cliff, crouch again to reduce your body height. You should be able to 'slide' onto it.

20 meters[edit | edit source]

  • Build a Lookout Tower and climb onto it.
  • While equipping a Jetpack and the Jump button is held down, this is the maximum vertical flight.

27 meters[edit | edit source]

36 meters[edit | edit source]

  • While equipping a Jetpack, tap the Jump button few times per second for a max height of 36 meters. You need to time the jumps else the vertical height will be shortened.

76 meters[edit | edit source]

  • Use a Radar Tower. Be careful when climbing as its ladder is divided into a few segments, each located at different parts of the tower.

More than 76 meters[edit | edit source]

  • Use ladders, just stack as high as you want. Requires a lot of building material, and can be difficult to dismantle after that.
  • Chain multiple Conveyor Lifts upward then use Jetpack to fly up. Requires a lot of building material.
  • Use vertical Hyper Tube Cannon. The fastest method to gain elevation. Save your game before using it.
  • Build foundations aimed at the cliff, then use Jetpack to hop around. Not suitable for cliff overhang. Foundations should not be spaced more than 20 meters vertically apart.
  • Similar to above, but build Splitters instead. Buildable for any type of cliff, snaps to anywhere. Small landing point, require careful placement.
Rock climbing. Building Foundations or Splitters as landing points for Jetpack.
