The Miner Mk.2 is the improved version of the Miner Mk.1 which mines at 200% speed. It is a building used to extract ore resources (Iron Ore, Copper Ore, Limestone, etc.) from resource nodes around the World.

It is unlocked after completing the Tier 4 milestone "Steel Production"

Mining Speed[edit | edit source]

To calculate the Miner Mk.2 mining speed:

(mining speed)=2*(purity modifier)*(overclock percentage)*60

Purity modifiers; Impure = 0.5x, Normal = 1.0x, Pure = 2.0x.

The mining speed for non-overclocked Miner Mk.2 is:

Overclocking[edit | edit source]

The Miner Mk.2 can be overclocked up to 250% speed, at the cost of greatly increased power consumption.

Running a Miner Mk.2 at 50% yields the same amount of resources as a Miner Mk.1 with slightly reduced energy consumption (4 MW instead of 5 MW).
