An Industrial Fluid Buffer is a building used to store fluids, behaving similar to a Pipeline but with much higher storage capacity. It has 2 fluid connectors which are both non-directional. They are stackable on each other.

Variants[edit | edit source]

It comes with 2 sizes:

  • The smaller stores 300 m³.
  • The larger stores 1200 m³.

The larger stores 4 times as much, but also takes up 4 times as much space.

Flushing[edit | edit source]

Similar to pipelines, flushing can be performed to delete all the contained fluid by interacting with it (default E). There are 2 modes:

  • 'This buffer only' flushes only the content in the selected buffer.
  • 'Entire pipe network' flushes the fluid in all the connected pipelines and buffers.
