  • Note that for Electrode - Aluminum Scrap, combination with Sloppy Alumina Solution results in equal Bauxite efficiency compared to Instant Scrap.
  • Weighted Point is the weighted consumption rate which is calculated by: (resource consumption rate / maximum extraction rate) * 10,000. The lower the better.
  • Energy per item can be used to measure how much power is consumed for the entire production chain. The lower the better.
  • Space refers to building space, excluding belts and pipes. The lower the better.
  • Among multiple ways to produce each of the ingredient, the recipe with the lowest WP is chosen. See also:
  • Water byproduct can be recycled back to the previous step, reducing the need of 'fresh' water from Water Extractor.
  • Silica byproduct can be used to supplement 1/3 of the Silica usage for the next production step. Thus, resources are not wasted and some of the WP, Energy and space can be recovered.


  • Want to get the most out of your Alumina Solution? Electrode-Aluminum Scrap is your friend then. At the cost of Crude Oil in the form of Petroleum Coke, you can get up to 11.111% more Aluminum Scrap compared to the standard recipe. Just keep in mind that this recipe is a bit slower.

  • If you like simple production lines, Instant Scrap can help you with that. While it does need Sulfuric Acid made from valuable Sulfur, it produces Scrap just as efficiently as other alternative recipe combinations.
